Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei predicts that AI will write 90% of code in just 3-6 months -> Hyperbole or Inflection Point? For me, this isn't the real story.

Yes, Anthropic's Claude 3.7 has quietly become the coding agent of choice. Full disclosure: for most tasks, my defaults are Claude and Perplexity

Claude Code helps build applications faster. And Cursor x Claude is a hit.

But, the implications extend far beyond software development:

• 84% of CEOs believe AI Adoption will improve employee efficiency (PwC)

• We're entering the agentic era - a projected $6 trillion digital labor market (Salesforce Futurum)

• Workers may soon interact more with AI agents than human colleagues (Slack CMO)

• And, platforms like Salesforce's Agentforce are positioning AI as "digital labor" - a limitless workforce that transforms enterprise capabilities

Make no mistake, as Satya Nadella put it - AI will redefine "cognitive labor."

Here's the key question: how will we use the "productivity dividend" that AI creates?

To tackle previously impossible challenges?

Personalized healthcare at scale, climate-positive business models, educational systems that adapt to individual learning needs, and more.

Or perhaps some mundane ones?

As Nadella notes "Let an AI agent triage my email, but after having triaged my email, give me a higher-level cognitive labor task."

The key insight?

AI shouldn't replace us - it should elevate our contribution.

The most successful organizations maintain a thoughtful balance. AI handles what "intelligent machines" are good at - pattern recognition, pattern matching, and repetitive tasks - while human creativity, ethical judgment, and interpersonal intelligence guide the process.

This approach ensures technology amplifies rather than diminishes our contribution.

Easier said than done.

And therein lies the challenge and opportunity.
